Bodegas will sell some land to build a business plan and get a plot of land off the ground in southern Oregon, the company announced Wednesday.
The company, called Cascadia Bodegas, said the new property will help build a farm, shop, build a restaurant and other business in the city of Portland, Ore.
It said it plans to use the land to create jobs for local residents and farmers.
The land is part of a larger parcel in the Portland metro area, including two nearby parcels.
It’s the first time the company has applied for a business permit in Portland, said Cascadian Bodegoas’ vice president of business development, Michael Kuckel.
The Bodegs plan to expand into a farming operation and eventually expand into retail and other businesses.
